I just completed a step stool in white and soft pastel pink ivory as well as a shabby chic laundry sign done in sage greens and a Chocolate sign finished in vintage glass pearls.

I am starting two large pieces. One is a headboard. It is an East Lake later 1800's piece that I will first paint a white and then cover in several rose patterns from the 1930's and 1940's as well as stained glass. The footboard I will convert into a coat rack.

Functional Art Using Architectural Findings

These are functional art pieces . All items are created to be used and enjoyed. The grout is sealed. The pink and cottage white paints I use, along with the floral themes accented with feminine trims, pearls, and glass makes these items perfect for the romantic home and the cottage chic decorating. I use vintage and antique furniture and findings such as an antique roundabout or corner chair and paint in pastels or whites, and then cover in roses, stained glass and pearls. Each of these items are one of a kind. I have several pieces in various stages of progress- so be sure to bookmark my site and visit regularly.
